Between 2019 and 2022, I worked on a number of video projects for Wonder Science (www.WonderScience.com). The largest of these projects was a three-and-a-half hour video tour of the Solar System, which incorporated real images, 3D projection mapping, and freely available NASA data to create dynamic explorations of all eight planets and Pluto. With the exception of Saturn (which exclusively uses real footage from the Cassini mission), all other videos required some level of 3D animation to bring still images to life. When creating these simulations, I made certain that all sizes and distances were as accurate to reality as possible.
These videos were meant to be long and almost meditative, in the vein of "slow TV," while still being engaging and dynamic. This format meant render times for even a "simple" shot often took many hours to complete.
Below are a selection of videos from this series.

In 2018, I was privileged to work on two documentary films through Cal State LA's Community Impact Media program. On the first production, "Project Rebound," I was part of the student crew, filling the roles of both Assistant Director and Director of Photography. The following semester, I was offered the paid role of director and student assistant, overseeing my own student crew to complete a documentary about a local non-profit, "Green Technology."
